Alternatively, if you don’t have a marble at home, you could find something in your house such as a small bouncy ball, or any type of small round object that can be fit through a paper towel tube.

Art
60min per week
Year 3 Shadow puppet theatre
Create a show for your family. Cut a square hole in a box and cover with wax paper or tissue paper (like the Art Room stage). Yours might be smaller, but may stand up better than the Art Room screen. The image below shows a simple white sheet hanging up.
Use your puppet from school or make a new one. Remember to fold your paper for symmetrical cutting, and cut your shapes away from the edge, such as eyes and mouths. Your puppet will grow and shrink with proximity to the light and details will only be seen if they are carefully cut out of the shape. Details are easier to cut if they are larger. Draw your details first and turn the paper to follow your line with the scissors.
Film your show if you can. Have fun!
Year 4 Cardboard building. You will have your second Art lesson to finish this too.
