Based on community feedback, what will we continue, stop or add in Learning from Home this term?

Based on this feedback, we will continue:
- Online resources, e.g. My Numeracy, FUSE, Epic!
- Offline tasks, e.g. pen and paper
- Webex video conferencing
- Year Level programs
- Literacy Intervention - thank you, as the number of parents who supported this far exceeded the number of students who are on this program
- Teacher mailboxes
- Answers for some tasks - with reference to the needs of particular year levels
- Weekly program provided before the week started
- Flexibility to schedule learning tasks around family commitments
We will review/modify:
- Specialist programs: these will be optional and have a two-three week focus, except for P.E.
As physical activity is considered essential, movement activities will be provided each week for each
sub-school.
- Learning Intentions - we will keep these and add the other element that we use at school - Success Criteria - for specific tasks. These will be designated on each week's planner for the teacher to assess or provide feedback.

Based on this feedback, we will review/modify:
- Specialist programs (see above)
- Flexibility to schedule learning tasks around family commitments - although most families preferred to have flexibility, we'll provide more suggestions for how to structure the day's learning for those families who choose to use this.

Based on this feedback, we will add:
- Additional group Webex check-ins with teachers - teachers will schedule different types of Webex meetings to meet with groups or individuals
- Individual student conferences with teachers - via Webex
- Learning tasks linked to specific Webex meetings - some classes did this successfully last term and now these will be noted on the LFH pages
- STA online sessions (for students who currently attend Speech Therapy with VersaLearn and our aides) - as the number of responses far exceeded students who use this program. This will take priority over class Webex for STA students as it needs to fit with our Speech Pathologist and aide timetables.
- Continued roll out of online resources (as per eNews #2) We've also added a new Maths problem-solving resource that teachers will introduce to our young mathematicians.
- Showcasing student work (e.g. LFH Online Art Gallery)
- Year Level assemblies on an optional basis after Week 1, if teams decide to do this. Last term students enjoyed doing these at school.
Q13 Is there something else the school could consider to support your child's learning or wellbeing if we had to resume remote learning?
Here's a summary of the suggestions that had the most support from parents, and how we're responding this term (July 2020):
