Science is a valued focus at Laburnum Primary School.

We now have a huge, well-resourced and functional Science room, The Laburnum Laboratory, that is scheduled for classes to use. This school-funded resource supports our Inquiry Units at each year level and allows multiple classes to work together on tasks. 

Our long-standing Science Committee of teachers and parents works and plans together for whole school and year level activities. Parents, Year 6 STEM captains and teachers plan and deliver Science activities, including Year 4 Science Night and extracurricular Coding and 3D Printing Clubs.
