Our Junior School At Work

We learnt how to do old fashioned writing. We played races. We played egg and spoon races, pancake races and hula hoop races. There were two teachers there. They had slate boards and slate pencils.

There was no electricity, no gas either! Boys had to play 'kick the can'. Girls had to play 'skipping ropes'. We did egg and spoon races.
