Art

 The children at Laburnum are enjoying working in our fabulous Visual Arts Centre. The children participate in art activities that focus on exploring and developing ideas. They learn and develop skills and techniques through planned units on painting, printing, textiles, clay, drawing, collage and construction. Art observations and comparisons are shared together before work is either displayed in classrooms, in the corridors or taken to a home environment to be valued.

A feature of the Art program in Term 3 is the link with the Library program which culmintates in a celebration of Children's Book Week.
