Our Curriculum - Library

Teachers: Wendy Keogh

The library at Laburnum is always a hub of activity, it is a wonderful place that is full of books and yet it is so much more.

Before school every day we have mums, dad, grandparents and children sharing stories, drawing, researching, borrowing or playing chess.

The children also have the opportunity to use the library at lunchtimes and you will find them sitting quietly totally engrossed in a book or accessing information on the laptops or showing their creativity through drawing, playing games or making things. The children also really enjoy the chance to build with the construction equipment and to solve the puzzles that are also available.

Our library is a great place to borrow books and read and it is also an entire resource centre, a community facility with many fabulous things for the children to see and do!
